You are set-up at your favorite dark site. The sky has finally cleared. In view, the stars brilliantly shining. You slew to a deep sky object you've always wanted to image. Your mount is tracking, the scope and CCD camera, ready to image. You start up a three (3) hour LRGB series, just enough time before your scope reaches the meridian. You start imaging and kick back letting your equipment work away, capturing what will probably be the best set of images you've ever done.
Hours later you check the status of the images just to realize that you left the sub frame on, cutting off the object you wanted, or worse, you forgot to turn on Autosave. Three hours wasted! If only you had checked the software settings before starting. If only there was an easier way to check these common errors we all have made. Now there is: ImageGenie.
What Users are saying about ImageGenie:

The following errors can be flagged in the full version:
A Free version of ImageGenie can be downloaded below, which checks for the most common error (Autosave not on). The Free version allows you to verify the functionality, the look and feel of this add on. You can purchase and register the software to obtain the Full version, which costs only $20. Visit the Web Store to purchase the full version.
Here is addition help for ImageGenie installation and use. New information will be added when identified.
